Melody is the owner and primary tutor for Melody Poggio Tutoring. She earned her degree in communication disorders (speech therapy) from Truman State University in 2003. Since then, she has worked with students of all ability levels in school systems in several states, tutored privately, and worked as a substitute teacher in the Duluth, MN, area. She works with students in all core subjects and enjoys finding ways to make students enjoy learning.

In her free time, she spends time with her two children and husband, German Shepherd, a very cute (but not very smart) pug, two cats, and a multitude of chickens. Exploring state and national parks, fishing, and biking keep her busy in her free time.
